Show Notes

In this week’s episode of the SBLive California Podcast, reporters Connor Morrissette, Lance Smith and Bodie DeSilva discuss the biggest stories of the week in Southern California high school sports.

Smith hits on the Open Division and Division 1 girls basketball playoffs in the Southern Section and then DeSilva updates the San Diego basketball and baseball playoff pictures.

Morrissette then makes the point that Sierra Canyon guard Amari Bailey can become one of the all-time winners in the state and cement his place as one of the greatest all-time players in California high school basketball history by winning another Southern Section Open Division title this season. If Bailey can win four straight a year from now, that would move him into unchartered territory.

The show finishes with the trio giving their top performers from the past week.
