In the latest episode of the Scorebook Live California Podcast, reporter Connor Morrissette speaks with CIF State Executive Director Ron Nocetti and CIF State Associate Executive Director Brian Seymour about the upcoming high school sports season in California. The CIF State office announced Monday morning that all three seasons of high school sports in California will be moved to later in the 2020-2021 school year due to the coronavirus pandemic. Organized team practices will begin in December at the earliest, according to a CIF State release. Nocetti and Seymour discuss what went into that decision as well as the implications of it here.
